Rooted Sermon | Rev. Jan Phillips
What roots you in Christ? What roots you in the United Methodist Church? What roots you in times of anxiety or hardship? The word “rooted” in the Greek (Strong’s 4492G, rhizoó) means: to render firm, to fix, establish, cause a person or a thing to be thoroughly grounded. To stabilize. So, I ask you to also consider these questions as we seek to bind ourselves to the One who stands strong in all things.
