"He proclaimed, “The one who is more powerful than I is coming after me; I am not worthy to stoop down and untie the strap of his sandals. I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” - Mark 1:7-8

Joined in mission and united in the loving grace of Jesus Christ we are baptized in the spirit so that we are transformed by God. This Sunday we remember our baptism into the community of Christ, a ceremony that brings us into the new life of the church. We examine in song, praise, and word how the Spirit is present in the waters of our baptism as we journey into this new year in which the Holy Spirit will continue transform the world.
