Do not be afraid. One of the most common phrases throughout the bible is how the angel greets Mary before sharing the incredible news of Christ's birth. In the Christmas story God meets Mary in her fear and promises to walk beside her as she worked to pave the way for the birth of the savior who changed everything. From generation to generation, we are reminded that God meets us in our fear and apprehension, giving us the strength to enact God's vision.
