This Sunday we have the pleasure of welcoming the Rev. Dr. Veronice Miles, the Mary Elizabeth McGee Joyce Professor of Preaching at Wesley Theological Seminary, who will be bringing a powerful word to Calvary. A fun fact, is that Dr. Miles has also taught the art of teaching to both Pastor Jan and I (Evan), where she made sure any sermon preached by her students were seeped in the word of God.
