“He knew what they were thinking and said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.” -Matthew 12:25 On Pentecost, we celebrate the wondrous works of the the Holy Spirit, who descended on a group of divided peoples uniting them in community through the gift of the spirit. Like the people of Acts, this sermon describes how we join together in the universal language of worship and pray that the Holy Spirit rushes into our lives granting us the gifts to minister to all peoples.
