We Are So Excited
This year Calvary wants to do something truly special for our 8 p.m. online Christmas Eve Service. We know that 2020 has been a difficult year of isolation and social distancing. That is why this year we want to help show and remind everyone of the great community that is found here at Calvary UMC. We are inviting everyone to submit Christmas photos of themselves and their families to create a communal Calvary Christmas Eve Collage to be shown during the prelude of our 8 p.m. online Christmas Eve Service. If you would like to participate, we have some instructions below. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Photo Instructions
- Please wear Christmas themed attire or what you might usually wear to our Christmas Eve service
- Please upload the photo to the link above, and title the file with how you or your family would like to be listed as, i.e. “The Smiths,” “Jane and John Smith,” etc. or unlisted.
- You can also send the photo in an email to pastor.connor@calmeth.org along with how you would like your family to be listed as.
Tips for Taking the Photo
- If you are taking the photo with a phone, please hold your phone landscape (sideways).
- Make sure light is shining on your faces.
- Avoid standing in front of a window or any back lighting that would cause the photo to look like a silhouette.
- If you would like to include Christmas items like an Advent Wreath, Yule Log, Nativity Scene, etc. please feel free to do so.
